Parent reviews are useful, but ownership alone doesn't tell you whether an ABA program is a good fit for your child. When touring, I'd ask:

• How many children does each BCBA supervise?
• What's the RBT turnover rate?
• How often will the BCBA personally observe my child?
• How much parent training is included?
• Can parents see treatment data and goals?
• How do you handle assent, refusal, distress, and breaks?
• What happens when a child is ready for fewer ABA hours or transition to school?
• Can I speak with 2–3 current families, rather than only reading testimonials?
• What insurance plans do you accept, and what is the expected wait for an opening?

That last point can be especially important because some highly reviewed Texas providers don't accept Medicaid, while others do.
